Common Questions

Microblading is a type of semi-permanent makeup to give a finer and more natural result by imitating hairs that we have on our eyebrows or that we want on our eyebrows. The hair stroke technique mimics your own eyebrow hair creating a feathering effect. The end result is very natural looking brow.

Microblading is a great option for those who live an active lifestyle and don’t want to apply traditional makeup on a daily basis. Microblading is also a fantastic option for individuals with hair loss as a result of chemotherapy, Alopecia or over-tweezed/over-plucked brows.

Typically microblading can last anywhere from 1.5-3 years. Skin type, body chemistry and lifestyle activities all play a role in determining the life span of your microbladed brows. Those with oily skin types will find the pigment will fade quicker than those with dry or normal skin. Mature skin will also hold pigment longer because of the low cellular turnover rate. UV rays will fade pigment quickly so those that tan or use sunbeds regularly will also find their brows will fade quicker.
Your eyebrows will be numb during the entire procedure to ensure you are as comfortable as possible. Initially we let you sit with numbign cream on for 15-20 minutes. After the outline is completed a second numbing agents that works only on broken skin is applied and left on for 5-7 minutes. Usually this does the trick and lasts until the end of the service. However, if more numbing is required we are happy to do an additional round!
